Responsibilities
• Provide full salon services such as Haircuts, Color, Perms, Smoothing and Styling, Keratin Treatments.
• Answer the phone / schedule / re-schedule / adjust services when needed
• Maintain cleanliness of salon and your station
• Advise and recommend services and products based on client’s hair care needs
• Keep abreast of new styles, techniques & products
• Recommend professional retail products to your clients – available via e-commerce
• Participate with marketing & advertising to walk-by traffic, downtown & through social media
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Bring book of clients equivalent to 20hr/wk services or more
• Current cosmetology license
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with salon scheduling software
• Familiarity with social media - facebook, instagram, nextdoor, tiktok etc (make posts on your personal page, join groups)
