As a Staff Software Engineer, Blockchain, you will lead the design and development of secure, scalable, and high-performance blockchain infrastructure that powers tokenized financial assets. You will architect core services, optimize distributed systems, and collaborate across engineering, product, and operations teams to enhance reliability and efficiency. This role provides the opportunity to influence technical strategy, mentor engineers, and implement innovative solutions that support large-scale digital asset issuance and movement. Accountabilities

In this role, you will:

  • Define and implement technical strategies for blockchain infrastructure supporting stablecoins, asset transfers, and tokenized financial instruments.
  • Architect reusable services and APIs that ensure efficient, compliant, and reliable asset movement across chains and external providers.
  • Lead cross-team initiatives to improve performance, security, observability, and developer experience.
  • Collaborate with staff engineers, tech leads, product, and operations teams to drive technical excellence and organizational improvements.
  • Mentor engineers at all levels to promote best practices, high-quality software design, and continuous learning.
  • Optimize existing blockchain systems to enhance performance, reduce latency, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making processes to maintain system health and reliability.

Requirements

Candidates should have:

  • 8+ years of experience building and scaling distributed systems in high-growth technology environments.
  • Proven track record of leading complex technical initiatives from conception to delivery.
  • Deep expertise in designing and implementing large-scale, high-performance systems.
  • Strong experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and drive technical excellence across teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical decisions across the organization.
  • Experience in automation systems and improving operational efficiency.
  • Practical experience with blockchain development and related distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with leveraging AI tools to enhance workflows and productivity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
