SAP BASIS Admin Lead

Job Description :

SAP BASIS Admin Lead positions offered by E&J Gallo Winery (Modesto, CA). Lead and mentor BASIS team, providing guidance and resolutions for complex database issues. Design the overall architecture of SAP database landscape that includes system integration and data flow for On-Prem, Hybrid and Cloud platforms. Perform the installation, configuration, and maintenance of varied SAP database components. Plan and execute SAP application and database upgrades. Collaborate with SAP and cross functional teams to develop and deploy long-term SAP strategies and roadmaps. Assess the database infrastructure and recommend improvements or migrations to newer technologies to stay compliant and reduce cost. Implement and design Disaster Recovery and High Availability solutions on varied SAP components deployed in a landscape. Analyze database system performance metrics and recommend tuning measures for optimal performance and better user experience. Create and maintain documentation of SAP architecture and 3rd party integrations along with standards and procedures for BASIS team for quality deliverables. Stay updated with SAP's innovations and deploy the best suitable solution based on the business requirements. Present and deploy database architectural changes that better align with evolving business needs. Establish database governance frameworks that best adhere to SAP standards. Coordinate and manage the transport of changes across different SAP environments. Oversee data provisioning, storage and management within SAP application and deploy data purging and archiving solutions adhering to the organizations audit policies. Deploy, configure, and manage SAP BTP services and applications. Facilitate the integration of SAP BTP with other SAP and 3rd party applications.

Minimum Requirements :

• Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and 10 years of experience performing technical analysis and design and creating associated documentation
• Must have 7 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Implementing SAP business processes
  • Performing end-to-end full lifecycle SAP implementation projects
  • Performing end-to-end full lifecycle SAP implementation projects on HANA
  • Performing SAP System Administration as an SAP BASIS professional
• Position reports to Modesto, CA office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office.
• Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.

We are offering a salary of $133,900 to $200,900 per year.
