Job Title: X-Ray Technician
Duration : 13 weeks contract
Work Location:- New York, NYC
Shift timing:- Variable shifts, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week (some weekends may be required)
Requirement : (L.R.T), BLS
Job Description: - Perform diagnostic radiology procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Operate X-ray equipment to produce clear and accurate imaging results.
- Position patients correctly and ensure their safety, comfort, and protection from unnecessary radiation exposure.
- Maintain proper documentation and imaging records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to support patient care.
- Monitor equipment performance, report malfunctions, and follow safety procedures.
- Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and HIPAA guidelines.
- Provide clear communication and instructions to patients regarding imaging procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- New York State Department of Health Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T).
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (required).
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Competency in performing diagnostic procedures in general radiography.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills.
