Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced weekend nanny to care for two girls, Six month and 2.5 years old. The client is seeking someone who can be a helpful household presence and a long-term support to the family. The ideal candidate is warm, outgoing, hands-on, and comfortable with travel.
Responsibilities:
Care for two young children (6 months & 2.5 years)
Travel with the family on weekends (leave Friday during the day, return Monday night)
Plan age-appropriate, engaging activities
Keep children on a schedule (naps, meals, play, etc.)
Assist with light household tasks (e.g., children’s laundry, preparing simple meals, tidying play areas)
Be a warm, positive presence in the home
Occasionally provide evening coverage for date nights or weekday evenings
Driving children as needed.
Requirements:
5+ years similar experience working with infants and toddlers
Comfortable traveling with family on weekends
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Within 30 minute commute of Scarsdale
Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
Able to commit long-term and prioritize this weekend role
