Job Description

The Substitute School Nurse provides health services to students and staff in the absence of the regular school nurse.

  • This position is responsible for promoting a healthy school environment, administering medications, providing first aid, and responding to medical emergencies as needed.
  • Candidates must hold a current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license, possess current CPR and First Aid certification, and demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.


This on-call position pays $130 per day, with hours from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
