Steel Estimator

gpac is partnered with an structural and miscellaneous steel fabricator completing projects for a variety of industries utilizing structural steel construction. They are seeking an experienced Steel Estimator to add to their growing team. Qualifications for Steel Estimator:

* Successfully estimated and won projects in the $100k-$1M range
* Experience estimating with Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or Planswift software
* Knowledge of current AISC and PCI codes and standards
* Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
* Ability to calculate costs and prepare estimates
* Excellent organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities of Steel Estimator:

* Prepare and review estimates for accuracy and completeness
* Coordinate and communicate with team members
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients
* Manage and monitor project budgets and schedules
* Monitor and review changes in project scope
* Ensure all materials, labor and equipment costs are accurately included in estimates
* Prepare accurate material take offs
* Assist in developing and implementing cost-effective strategies

Compensation/Benefits:

* $60,000 - $90,000 base salary (DOE)
