This position involves contributing to HashiCorp's offerings, now part of IBM, which empower organizations to automate and secure multi-cloud and hybrid environments. You will join a team managing the lifecycle of infrastructure and security, enhancing IBM's cloud solutions to ensure enterprises achieve efficiency, security, and scalability in their cloud journey. **Your role and responsibilities** Join the NAVI engineering team to advance and maintain the most powerful AI-driven platform for HashiCorp and IBM customers. You'll engineer and support NAVI, ensuring it is secure, scalable, and always at the forefront of automation, NLP, and data intelligence. Your work will drive the success of cloud automation, secure operations, and advanced data processing for global enterprises Responsibilities. * AI & NLP Integration Engineer chunking, annotation, embedding, and vectorization workflows for ingesting and processing enterprise data at scale. Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines for NLP (OpenAI, Pinecone) and machine learning workloads. * Platform Maintenance & Enhancement Maintain, update, and troubleshoot the NAVI platform, leveraging HashiCorp Vault, Terraform, Consul, and Boundary for automation, security, and service networking. Proactively monitor platform health, reliability, and performance using HashiCorp best practices. Implement robust CI/CD pipelines for code, data, and infrastructure. * Automation & Infrastructure as Code Design and automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using HCL, Terraform modules, and Consul service discovery. Drive self-service, policy-driven infrastructure patterns for AI and data workloads. * Quality Assurance & Testing Build and maintain automated QA/test harnesses for all data, NLP, and pipeline workflows. Ensure thorough testing of all platform updates and integrations, including robust error handling and recovery. * Cross-Platform & API Engineering Integrate with third-party systems (Snowflake, SFDC, JIRA, Gainsight, Vivun) via robust, secure APIs and data connectors. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and internal SDKs for platform extensibility. * Continuous Improvement Collaborate with platform architects, data engineers, and security teams to enhance NAVI's capabilities. Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and operational excellence initiatives. **Required technical and professional expertise** 7+ years' experience managing: ● Core Technologies: NLP frameworks: OpenAI APIs, Pinecone vector DB Data engineering: ETL, data chunking, annotation, vectorization, QA automation Langchain, Flowise, Pinecone, LLM Frameworks and NLP API development (REST, JSON, OAuth2) ● Platform Operations: Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipeline automation Secrets management, RBAC, audit logging Monitoring, alerting, and platform troubleshooting ● Soft Skills: Strong documentation, communication, and cross-functional teamwork Analytical problem-solving and a passion for continuous learning IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
