Overview:

SOSi is currently seeking an experienced Service Desk Technician to join our team in Fort Meade, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Assists users via phone and field support in a wide range of computer issues.
• Installs, upgrades, and maintains desktop and portable computer hardware, software, printers, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical problems.
• Enters and updates tickets into the automated trouble ticketing system; tracks trends andrecommends corrective actions; and ensures compliance with applicable security and property accountability requirements.
• Interfaces with Network Operations team on integration issues and product research andinstallation testing.
• Provides minor network cabling installations and modifications as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess or be eligible for favorable T1 (NACI, national Agency Check) investigation.
• DoD 8570.01 IAT level I (A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, or SSCP) compliant or higher.
