Commercial Litigation Attorney - Remote Chicago, IL

Law firm looking for a hardworking and exceptionally skilled Commercial Litigation Attorney with 4+ years of experience to join the firm's litigation group. This Commercial Litigation Attorney role offers professional growth and advancement opportunities in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have solid courtroom and deposition experience, as well as day-to-day case responsibility.

Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research and analysis.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and other documents.
Pre-trial discovery, including taking and defending depositions.
Prepare for and attend hearings, trials and mediations.
Effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel and court personnel.

Requirements:

Must be a member of the Illinois bar in good standing.
4+ years of commercial litigation experience.
Excellent research, writing and analytical skills.
Self-starter with ability to manage an active case load.
Persuasive communication and advocacy skills.
