PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN I

Birmingham, AL

HOW YOU WILL IMPACT THE BIG PICTURE:

As a Production Technician I, you will support EWTN's studio and field productions by providing essential technical assistance. Working under the guidance of experienced production staff, you will help ensure smooth, high-quality broadcasts that support EWTN's mission of sharing the Gospel.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of production equipment, including cameras, audio, lighting, and sets.
• You will support live and recorded productions, help maintain organized and safe production spaces, perform basic equipment checks, and collaborate with production teams to bring each broadcast to life.

ABOUT YOU:

• You have a basic understanding of television production and a strong desire to learn.
• You are dependable, detail-oriented, and work well in a team environment.
• You are physically able to meet the demands of the role, flexible with scheduling, and supportive of EWTN's Catholic mission.
• A technical degree or certification in production or media is preferred but not required.
