Well known entertainment brand is seeking an experienced Production Manager to support large-scale, high-profile special events. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented production professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and excels at balancing planning, logistics, budgeting, and onsite operations. The Production Manager will work closely with the Event Producer and cross-functional partners to ensure seamless execution from pre-production through load-out, providing both strategic support and hands-on leadership onsite.
Production & Event Management
Support overall event planning, logistics, scheduling, and onsite operations
Assist with installation and deinstallation planning and execution
Participate in space reviews and production walkthroughs to maintain full event knowledge
Provide onsite operational support, including daily issue triage and coordination with area managers
Serve as evening point of contact until all guests have exited the venue
Budget & Schedule Management
Assist with event budget updates, estimates, invoice review, tracking actuals, and close-out documentation
Prepare budget revisions and chargeback documentation as needed
Track project schedules, follow up with teams on progress, and flag risks or changes
Vendor & Partner Coordination
Communicate with internal teams, sponsors, exhibitors, vendors, and operational partners to ensure alignment
Support exhibitor and production team needs by addressing questions and connecting stakeholders efficiently
Assist with guest logistics and operational communications
Meetings & Planning
Participate in production meetings, site visits, venue walkthroughs, and vendor meetings
Support all-hands meetings, orientation planning, and presentation development
Communicate status updates, risks, and next steps to the Event Producer
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain and update production schedules, budgets, and working files
Distribute documentation as required and provide final files at event close
Contribute to post-event reporting, after-action notes, and wrap-up meetings
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, Communications, Theater, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 3 years of experience in event production, production management, or a similar role
Strong experience managing budgets, estimates, invoicing, and reporting
Working knowledge of technical event production (staging, video, audio, lighting)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven leadership ability with experience guiding teams and vendors
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver
Comfortable making decisions in real time and adapting to changing priorities
