Using multi-omics microbiome analysis single-cell transcriptomics and machine learningbased biomarker prediction models this project will investigate the effect of early-life diet on the gut microbiomes functional capacity and its association with the onset of childhood allergies
Preferred skills:
-Shotgunmetagenomics and16S rRNA sequencing analysis
-Single-cell RNA-seq and proteomic/metabolomic data integration
-Machine learning and AI applications in microbiome data
-Clinical metadata harmonization across cohorts
-Integration of clinical and multi-omic data to uncover microbiomehost relationships
-Experience with Python/R and cloud computing required
Ideal candidate:A computational biologist or bioinformatician with strong programming skills and a keen interest in applying AI to biological systemsparticularly in the context of clinical datasets and microbiome-driven disease mechanisms.
2. Immunology & MicrobeImmune System Interactions
This study will investigate the effects of gut microbial protein metabolism on immune tolerance development in food allergies.
Preferred skills:
-T cell immunology
-PBMCs-gut microbial metabolite co-cultures.
-Flow cytometry panel development and immune cell phenotyping
-Single-cell transcriptomics of immune compartments
-Cytokine assays Treg/Th cell profiling and mucosal immunity
-Mouse models of inflammation
-Immunopeptidomes
Ideal candidate:An immunologist with strong wet-lab experience and interest in microbiome-immunity crosstalk.
