Summary:

Assumes responsibility for the effective entry of patients into Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center; coordinates and makes arrangements for all access-related activities including data gathering, triage, communication with referring physicians, scheduling visits and pre-visit diagnostic tests, admitting patients to the hospital, communicating with disease-site teams and provides insurance and financial clearance for new and return visits. Starting salary is $42,641

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience


1. High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in patient registration, patient scheduling, or insurance verification; or
2. High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and successful completion of a Patient Access Representative traineeship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park).


NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
