Join the team at Country Smoke House , a unique retail and and sausage manufacturer, known as a Michigan Destination. We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals for the role of Order Picker/Stocker . No prior experience is required - your positive attitude, dependability, and motivation are what matter most to us. 

As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our efficient operations, ensuring customer satisfaction by accurately selecting and preparing products for customer pick up. In between pickups, you may also be involved in product logistics, stocking, cleaning and other tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Locate and pick products from coolers & freezers using order sheets or technology.
• Ensure accuracy in product selection and double-check picked items to prevent errors.
• Communicate order details to the client before they leave the premises.
• Resolve any issues/errors that may arise, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
• Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged products to the supervisor.
• Participate in regular inventory counts and stock replenishment activities.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding role and standing/walking for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
