Office/Cashier/Scale Operator - Market Street Recycling - Houston, Texas

A metal recycling company has an immediate opening for an individual who can work in an office environment.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Handling cash or checks
• Operating computerized scale to weigh in/out customers and trucks
• Operating an electronic POS system
• Answering phones
• Reconciling cash drawer-
• Preparing daily/weekly/monthly/annual reports
• Other clerical/office/warehouse duties as assigned

Requirements and Experience:

• Scrap Metal/Recycling Yard experience a plus
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Proficient with MS Office Suite, i.e. Excel, Word
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Reliable transportation
• Availability to work OT as required

We offer a good starting pay rate, normal hours Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., group health and life benefits, a 401K plan, vacation, holiday and sick pay.
