Achievement Rehabilitation Through Therapeutic Intervention, Inc - Occupational Therapist - School Based

Since 2007, Achievement Rehabilitation Through Therapeutic Intervention, Inc has provided therapy services across Citrus County in both our schools and in an out-patient setting. We offer speach, occupational and physical therapy services to our clients of all ages, as well as behavioral health to our pediatric clients.

Whether you are a highly skilled occupational therapist or a recent grad, we have positions in both our schools and in our out-patient clinics!

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work a full school day (8 hours), 5 days a week
• Pediatric/School experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds is required
• Current CPR certification is required (can be obtained/renewed after hired)
• FL OT License required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide high-quality, school-based Occupational Therapy services to students
• Maintain all documentation required by the district including daily notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEPs
• Serve as an IEP team member by attending meetings and submitting paperwork as needed to maintain compliance with federal, state, and school guidelines
• Communicate effectively with students, caregivers, supervisors, and providers of other disciplines
• Collaborate with fellow therapists and team members
• Exhibit patience, kindness, and respect for others
• Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Be flexible and adaptable
