Today we are seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer with verified Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience and/or current P&C certification .
Candidates without direct P&C insurance industry experience or certification will not be considered.
This role requires a strong blend of technical development expertise , insurance systems knowledge , and the ability to collaborate closely with business and technology teams. The successful candidate will serve as a senior developer and systems analyst, working to support and enhance key applications within the wholesale brokerage and specialty insurance domains.
Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a senior SQL developer to design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions.
Serve as the primary development contact for existing insurance systems and production support.
Manage, maintain, and optimize SQL databases across production, testing, and development environments.
Partner with business users and analysts to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers and technical teams.
Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban).
Support enhancements, configuration changes, and troubleshooting across insurance platforms.
Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Certification or Property & Casualty (P&C) industry experience– Required
Demonstrated experience working within the P&C insurance industry , preferably in Specialty Insurance or Wholesale Brokerage environments.
8+ years of hands-on development experience using SQL , VBScript , and JavaScript .
Strong background in ETL processes, SSIS packages , and workflow/automation development.
Experience with tools such as Documaker , Rackley , Infomaker , PowerBuilder , Retool , GoAnywhere , Redgate , Git .
Knowledge of ConceptOne , AIM , and ImageRight highly preferred.
Familiarity with both legacy and modern Policy Administration Systems (PAS) .
Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure or GCP preferred).
Strong understanding of web applications, APIs, microservices , and managed databases .
Experience with Jira , Confluence , ServiceNow , and ITIL framework.
Proven ability to analyze complex problems, manage competing priorities, and deliver solutions independently or in teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or related field.
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
