### Role Overview
We are seeking a **contract, remote Mobile App Developer** with proven experience building and deploying mobile applications on **Apple App Store and Google Play Store** using **React Native**. This role is backend-leaning, with a strong focus on APIs, data handling, performance, and system integrations, while still being comfortable working within a mobile UI codebase.
### Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using **React Native**
* Lead backend-related mobile development, including:
* API integration and architecture
* Authentication and authorization flows
* Data modeling, storage, and synchronization
* Collaborate with backend services (Node.js, Firebase, AWS, or similar)
* Ensure apps are production-ready and successfully deployed to **Apple App Store** and **Google Play Store**
* Optimize application performance, security, and scalability
* Debug, test, and maintain existing features
* Work closely with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
* Implement best practices for mobile architecture, code quality, and CI/CD pipelines
### Required Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience developing mobile applications
* Strong hands-on experience with **React Native**
* Proven experience deploying apps to **iOS and Android app stores**
* Strong backend experience (e.g., Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs, Firebase, AWS, or similar)
* Solid understanding of mobile app architecture and state management
* Experience with third-party APIs and SDKs
* Familiarity with Git-based workflows
* Ability to work independently in a remote, contract-based environment
### Nice to Have
* Experience with fintech, payments, or security-focused applications
* Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
* Experience with performance monitoring and analytics tools
* Familiarity with TypeScript
