Honeymoon Sweets Bakery is launching a new espresso-focused concept: The Café and Coffeehouse @ Honeymoon Sweets Bakery . We’re seeking a seasoned, highly experienced, and motivated Espresso Barista to help build and lead this elevated coffee experience from the ground up.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting new chapter for a well-established bakery brand, known Valley-wide for its handcrafted European-style desserts. We’re looking for someone with a deep passion for coffee, strong technical skill, and the ability to bring our café vision to life with excellence and professionalism.

About the Café

The Café and Coffeehouse @ Honeymoon Sweets Bakery will offer:

• Certified organic espresso
• House-made syrups crafted in our bakery kitchen
• Rotating seasonal beverages using clean, high-quality ingredients
• A welcoming, thoughtfully designed space where guests can enjoy artisan coffee alongside our signature pastries and desserts

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily espresso bar operations and deliver a refined, consistent guest experience
• Prepare premium espresso beverages with expert technique and attention to detail
• Collaborate on menu development, including seasonal and specialty drinks
• Set the tone for quality, efficiency, and hospitality in a new coffee environment
• Train and mentor baristas as the team grows
• Maintain equipment, manage supply inventory, and ensure café cleanliness and compliance

Who We’re Looking For

Required:

• 3–5 years of barista experience in a specialty café or high-quality coffee program
• Advanced skills in espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art
• Knowledge of coffee origins, roast profiles, and flavor development
• Professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset
• Passion for clean ingredients and delivering a premium guest experience
• Ability to multitask under pressure and maintain product consistency

Preferred:

• Experience helping to launch or manage a café or espresso program
• Background in seasonal beverage development
• Familiarity with organic, clean-label ingredients
• Current food handler certification (or willingness to obtain)
