Description Jeff Abrams with Robert Half is looking for an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join his client team. This role is integral to ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, compliance, and operations for specialized funds, including private equity and royalty income funds. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in fund accounting and a proactive approach to managing complex financial processes. Responsibilities: - Oversee the activities of external fund administrators, ensuring accurate accounting and investor reporting. - Lead the preparation and review of quarterly financial statements and coordinate external audits with auditors. - Manage regulatory filings across various jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standards. - Analyze complex equity accounting processes and provide detailed reviews to support financial accuracy. - Assist the Fund Controller in developing and maintaining financial planning and analysis for the funds. - Supervise operational tasks such as capital calls, distributions, income allocations, expense management, and cash forecasting. - Collaborate with Treasury teams to handle investment funding, portfolio collections, expense allocations, and fair valuations. - Review and maintain documentation for investment cost measurement, royalty income recognition, and cost relief calculations. If you're interested in this opportunity, please reach out to Jeff Abrams via LinkedIn Requirements - A minimum of 5-7 years of fund accounting experience, including expertise in debt funds and managing third-party administrators. - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. - Proficiency in fund accounting software such as Allvue (Alta Return), Geneva, or similar platforms is preferred. - Exceptional analytical abilities paired with strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while ensuring project completion. - Proven track record of upholding the highest ethical standards and integrity. - Collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork and achieving shared goals.
