Job Description

An opening is available for a full-time Paralegal/Legal Assistant at Tibbs Law Office, LLC, conveniently located in Symmes Township, just south of Mason, Ohio. Paralegal/Legal Assistant would be expected to work with our staff of three to four attorneys and one to two other Paralegals/Legal Assistants on family law, juvenile law, estate planning and estate administrations.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

· Experience with a range of sensitive legal issues such as divorce, child abuse, child custody, and domestic violence

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Extremely professional demeanor, in person and on the telephone

· Strict attention to detail

· Reliable transportation

· Ability to interact with Court personnel & clients in a courteous manner

· Experience with local courts, including but not limited to; Butler County, Hamilton County, Warren County and Clermont County

· Ability to effectively multi-task

· Experience with Clio case Management System & Microsoft 365 (Sharepoint)

· Experience in drafting pleadings, discovery, trial preparation and form preparation with clients

· Strong organizational skills and prioritization

Open to either filling a Full-time position or a part-time position.

If candidate wishes to fulfill a full time position, requirements are as follows:

· 40 hours per week;

· Hours are 8:00 am – 4:00 pm or 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday-Friday;

· Ability to file documents with Clerk’s Offices, if needed;

· Notary Public Certification, or willingness to quickly test for and obtain;

-Reliable transportation required

If candidate wishes to fulfill a part-time position, requirements are as follows:

-approximately 20-25 hours per week. Hours flexible;

-ability to file documents with Clerk's offices, if needed;

-Notary Public Certification, or willingness to quickly test for and obtain;

-Reliable transportation required

· Hourly compensation commensurate with experience, starting at $25/hour with overtime available
