Job Description

As a Glass Installer/Glazier at Glassolutions, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing various types of glass and glazing systems, including storefronts, curtain walls, shower enclosures, interior glazing, windows, and doors. Your role will involve ensuring that each installation meets the highest standards of quality and safety while adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, install, and secure glass panels, metal and glazing systems according to detailed project specifications for both residential and commercial projects.
Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure the accurate and timely completion of glass-related tasks.
Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the scope of work, required materials, and installation processes.
Safely and efficiently operate machinery and tools such as glass cutters, drills, grinders, and lifting equipment.
Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations, fostering a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Keep accurate records of materials used, tasks completed, and time spent on each project to ensure transparency and efficiency.
Deliver exceptional craftsmanship, with a strong focus on detail, to ensure all glass installations meet the highest standards of quality and aesthetic appeal.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in glass installation and architectural metal.
Proficient in handling and installing various types of glass, including curtain walls, storefronts, shower enclosures, and interior glazing systems.
Skilled in understanding and working from architectural drawings, blueprints, and detailed project specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address installation challenges or issues that may occur during the course of a project.
OSHA certification preferred.
Clean, valid driver's license is required.
Demonstrates a high degree of technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and a dedication to producing top-quality results.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
