Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a year or more of experience in dermatology and be proficient in various medical procedures. As a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality patient care, conduct assessments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive treatment plans.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Perform various medical procedures including skin biopsies, cryosurgery, cyst surgery, and excisionsal surgery.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.

Requirements

• Active Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner license in the State of NC
• A year or more of dermatology experience
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; recommended Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong focus on patient education.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
