The duties of the Custodian I include performing custodial services in keeping the building and surrounding area clean and orderly. Other responsibilities for the Custodian I are to vacuum rugs and carpets; clean, dust, and polish cabinets, furniture, and woodwork; empty and clean waste receptacles; clean stairways, hallways, restrooms, offices, lobby; clean ceilings, walls, windows, window shades, and light fixtures; assist in moving and arranging furniture and equipment as required; polish metal work; turn off lights and lock doors and windows; refill lavatory and housekeeping supplies; replace light bulbs and tubes; operate scrubbers, buffers, waxers, and other equipment and machinery; wash windows, wash automotive equipment; maintain ornamental plantings and clear vegetation debris in and around buildings and parking areas; and clear snow from parking lots and walkways.

The Gold Run Area has two buildings and two parking lots. You must be able to safely lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
