Position: BI Developer
Location: Jersey City, NJ (Onsite/Hybrid as per client requirement)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced BI Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining Business Intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BI tools, data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL, along with a solid understanding of business requirements and data analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze BI requirements.
Design, develop, and implement BI solutions using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik .
Create interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business decision-making.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries , stored procedures, and functions.
Work with ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Maintain and support existing BI solutions and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across BI systems.
Stay updated with the latest BI tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
8+ years of experience as a BI Developer or in a similar role.
Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView/Qlik Sense .
Strong experience with SQL Server and advanced query writing.
Experience with ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica, Talend, etc.).
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
