MRT Lawn and Garden Center will be opening a third location in Venice, FL in fall of 2025. In the meantime, at MRT we are looking to onboard a new assistant store manager at our Venice or Port Charlotte.
Leaders must delegate, train, and monitor the progress of all associates and all facets of the hardware store and garden center. The primary responsibilities of in-store management are to manage the sales, expenses, profits, assets, and team members' personal development to ensure customers are receiving the highest level of customer service.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of previous retail management experience. We are looking for qualified individuals for roles such as shift manager, assistant manager, and store manager. Working and/or managing a retail garden center or hardware store isn't a requirement but will be preferential for applicants.
The ability to lift 50 pounds consistently, and to stand and walk for up to 8 to 10 hours during shift are required.
