Who You Are

You’re an experienced air export professional who understands the intricacies of international air freight and is ready to take the next step in your career. As an Air Export Agent, you’ll oversee shipments from quote to delivery, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and client satisfaction, while building the leadership and problem-solving skills needed for long-term growth at Priority Worldwide.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • 3+ years of air export/freight forwarding experience
  • Familiarity with CargoWise (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of air freight regulations, documentation, and carrier requirements
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn
  • Ability to work with diverse cultures and global partners

What You Will Do

This role is designed for air export professionals who want to deepen their expertise and grow into leadership. You’ll manage the full export process and gain advanced experience in air carrier negotiations, compliance, and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess clients’ requests/emails, acknowledge immediately, then action or assign to appropriate team
  • Directly oversee and have accountability for all Air Export shipments and Client interaction
  • Complete FMC Filings and auditing to ensure compliance with the FMC Filings
  • Airline carrier rate review, negotiation, and approval process
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective routings of Air Export shipments
  • Ensure proper handling of CRP/Secured Shipments
  • Review and prepare Dangerous Goods (DG) documentation in compliance with IATA regulations
  • Pre-Alert shipments in a timely manner
  • Invoice agent routed shipments
  • Prepare international paperwork such as legalized documents, chamber documents, letter of credits, etc
  • Keep export reports/stats and present them to the team. Shipment Counts,
  • File AES and review for accuracy and compliance
  • Monitor personal and shared category e-mails in the exports mailbox and sea folder
  • Liaison with international and domestic agents
  • Complete rate requests as needed
  • Track cargo and update clients as needed
