Job Description
Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, is looking for a Accountant to join their team! This will be a hybrid role working out of their office in Ridgefield, CT. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of GAAP, excellent analytical skills, and expectational time management skills. Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered.
Role Overview:- Contract Role: 12 months
- Pay: $30-35/hr on W2
- Schedule: Hybrid scheduled, 40 hours per week
Responsibilities: - Perform journal entries
- Support month-end close responsibilities
- Handle account reconciliations
- Prepares asset, liability, and financial account entries
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required
- 3+ years of corporate accounting experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- SAP experience is required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience creating presentations and writing reprorts
