Here at Lakeside Foods, the maintenance team is a very important part of our production operations, ensuring proper function of the main plant boiler system, air compressors, and sprinkler system. 1st Class Boiler Operator team members are respected team members, performing preventative maintenance, and repair to ensure a steady production flow.   What You’ll Do:

• Troubleshoot boiler equipment, dealkalizers system, air compressors, and fire sprinkler systems and make the necessary repairs.
• Analyze and interpret the chemical composition of the boiler water.
• Maintain accurate records of boiler operations.
• Ability to make necessary repairs in the boiler room as needed and maintain safety / efficiency of the boiler room.
• Must be familiar with standard boiler safety procedures, state laws governing boiler safety, and all company safety policies.
• All boiler operators will adhere to instructions from the assigned boiler chief in charge.
• Boiler operators may be assigned work duties from their manager or chief in charge.
• Boiler operators are responsible for RO systems and air compressors
• Maintain work area clean and orderly.
• May perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor
• Notify Supervisor immediately if any unsafe or potential hazardous conditions are discovered.

  What You’ll Bring:

• Must have a minimum of a Class 1B Boiler License or higher

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
